| Warranty Replacement Program |

- This is treated as a standard repair and returns as far as the processing of the order. The customer requests a Standard Repair and Return form from the Repair Dept. He fills the form out and faxes it to the Repair Dept. On this form he specifies a warranty claim.
- When the Repair Dept. receives this form we enter a return authorization into the system and fax him a copy. When his part is received we test it to see if the failure is actually covered by the product warranty.
- The product warranty states that at our option, MEAU may repair the product or replace it with a new unit.
- If the failure is covered by our warranty, a warranty replacement transaction is entered into the database system. This is basically the same as a "no charge sale".
- If the failure is not covered by the new product warranty, the customer is contacted by either fax or phone and is told he will be charged our standard repair rates, or, at his request we would ship the unit back to him not repaired charging him an inspection charge.
