MX OPC Server enables software data connectivity to Mitsubishi FA Products across the entire range of physical connections from point-to-point serial to the most complex multiple network “drill downs”.  OPC technology eliminates all development related to both the FA hardware and software associated to implementing Mitsubishi dedicated protocols and communication methods.  It enables data transparency with the hundreds of OPC-compliant software products available today.

Typical applications suited to OPC include Data Acquisition, Supervisory Control, Recipe or Process Management, Graphic Visualization, Alarm and Events Logging, Production Reporting and more.  OPC also supports custom software developed using C, C++, Visual Basic, and Visual C++.  One example of a typical OPC software application would be MEAU’s MC-WorX Software Suite.
