The iQ Platform unifies four key fields of automation, one of them being servo motion. The iQ Motion CPU combined with the MELSERVO MR-J4 servo amplifiers and servo motors delivers the highest level of speed and precision with tight integration to interdisciplinary automation control. Exploiting the high-speed inter-CPU communication bus, servo movement can be scattered seamlessly throughout Sequence, Robot, and CNC operations.

iQ Platform Motion CPUs
The iQ Platform unifies four key fields of automation, one being servo motion. The iQ Motion CPUs combined with MR-J3 servos deliver the highest level of speed and precision with tight integration to interdisciplinary automation control. Exploiting the high-speed inter-CPU communication bus, servo movement can be scattered seamlessly throughout Sequence, Robot, and CNC operations.

For applications not needing the advanced features of a motion controller, the QD75 single-slot modules offer the flexibility to include or add motion to Q series control platforms. Features include linear and circular interpolation as well as multi-axis point-to-point commands. The QD75 modules are capable of 1,2, or 4 axis of control. The QD75-M type modules add the functionality and convenience of Mitsubishi’s high-performance Servo System Control Network (SSCNET). All of the QD75 modules are supported by easy to use Windows based programming packages.

The LD77MH simple motion modules offer the flexibility to include or add motion to the L series PLC. A variety of controls including positioning control, speed control, torque control, cam control and synchronous control can be achieved with simple parameter settings and a sequence program. The LD77MH modules are capable of 4 axes and 16 axes of control and add the functionality and convenience of using the MR-J3-B Safety amplifiers with Mitsubishi's 50Mbps high-speed optical communication Servo System Control Network (SSCNETIII).

The Q170MCPU motion controller completely fills the need for a stand-alone unit with built in motion and logic control. The development concept is based on a compact unit with built in power supply, motion and logic control, Ethernet network, external encoder interface and high speed registration inputs enabling OEM's to design a high-performance system in a more compact footprint. The Q170MCPU also has the ability to be easily integrated into 3rd party control platforms by utilizing the built-in Ethernet network and auxiliary gateway modules such as the ETH-1000 Ethernet IP gateway. It has a very high performance motion CPU equivalent to our iQ Platform motion CPU the Q172D and can be connected to our MR-J3-B series servos over Mitsubishi Electric's servo system control network (SSCNET III).

Mitsubishi Electric has developed a solution for Rockwell Automation users to leverage existing 3rd party control platforms and provide an easy replacement solution for the their servo amplifiers and servo motors. The Mitsubishi Electric well known superior high performance servo systems will connect with 3rd party control system through the standalone motion controller that connects directly with EtherNet/IP.
 
With the Q170MCPU controllers  there is no need to sacrifice performance. Users will benefit from the same high performance specifications as the iQ platform Q172D motion controller. The Q170MCPU-EIP features the same performance and specifications as the Q170MCPU and is compatible with the MR-J3-B and the MR-J4-B amplifiers.

The MR-MQ100 is designed to be the performance leader for single axis and 1.5 axis control. Combined with the speed and accuracy of the SSCNETIII fiber optic communication network as well as the power of the MR-J3-B series servo amplifiers, machines can now perform at higher production levels where applications involving rotary cut, flying saw, labeling operation and other high speed applications are required. Intuitive software makes implementation of encoder following, CAM profiles, registration mark synchronization and even servo axis tuning very easy and quick.
